Dr. Shaboyan is an optometrist in Toronto, Ontario. She has obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, and is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists of Ontario.
She has an interest in pediatric optometry and family vision care, and welcomes patients as young as 6 months of age for their first eye exam.
Dr. Shaboyan is a strong advocate for humanitarianism. She has gone on mission trips to Honduras, Peru, China, and Thailand to provide vision care to underprivileged communities. She has also helped in local hospitals in Armenia, promoting routine eyecare.
Throughout her studies, Dr. Shaboyan was a member of the Dean’s Honour Roll. She completed ocular disease training at the Lexington Veteran Affairs Hospital, providing care to patients with cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, and other conditions. She has also trained with doctors in Toronto and observed ocular surgeries such as cataract, retina, and LASIK.
In her spare time, Dr. Shaboyan enjoys artwork, music, reading, and spending time with close friends and family. She is excited to be practicing in such a vibrant city, and is dedicated to providing quality eyecare to all her patients.
